It’s been a while, I know. My camera battery died and then I couldn’t find a reliable power source. I met a few survivors and they told me the hospital was still fully functional. It was.

But so were the dead.

The crazy thing about the hospitals, though, is that right before the outbreak became widespread, they created something that they thought would be a cure or vaccine for the virus. While it wasn’t a cure, it did make it so that when the zombie woke up, his or her predatory and preying instincts weren’t as active. In all honesty, though, these zombies are the creepiest. It’s not safe to walk among them, but they don’t come running like the rest of them do. They do, however, stare at movement.

Believe it or not, I’m hunkered down in the morgue right now. The zombies move around in the freezer boxes sometimes, but I made sure they were locked tight. I took this picture of the nurse from behind a window. She’s been staring at me for three days now.

The creepiest part is that every time I fall asleep and stop moving, she bangs on the glass to wake me up.

Am I her entertainment?
